Travel by
Rail, Coach & Ferry
Rail and
coach travel is a relatively cheap way to travel across the UK, all of
it is operated by private companies so you can find some good bargains
depending on how, or when you travel. Ferries link the UK to the rest of
mainland Europe departing regularly. Fog, now-days, no longer cuts off
the continent, as the London 'Times' once reported in the old days of the British
Empire!
 |
Travelling by Rail
Rail travel
can be a fast and efficient method of travelling around.
There is
a substantial rail network in place across Great Britain,
allowing access by train to most national destinations.
|
Fares can vary considerably in price, with a
variety of
ticket types on offer, depending on how soon in advance you
can book your ticket and what time of day you plan to travel.
Railcards can also be purchased for use in certain
situations which can result in discounted fares.

journey
